forex and dealing desk?
I had been trading forex about 4 years ago and made a $35K from $7K and then it all slumped to $5 .
I wonder if at some point of time the MT4 Platform brokers are actually writing a program that will MANIPULATE the prices of currencies based on where the user kept his stops and then go stop hunting or is this just an exuse to justify my failure . Can MT4 Traders really customize things micro level so as to turn the trades to their side ?
Need some wise exp of an experienced Fx Trader.

I’m sure you have read Market Wizards and Pitbull etc. Unfortunately this is all part of the trading circle. Stop hunts do exist I am sure. On a micro level the big boys, long term players are not interested in daily noise of 50-100 point swings, so it is easy for the market to swing up and down to catch the virgin stops and money usually grouped in the same areas. What you have to look at, is whether it was your trading plan, style or emotions that caused you to lose profit. Every trader sometimes can not see the wood for the trees. Noted traders, when they start to suffer ‘losing streaks’, either take a break or go so small, those losses are negligible, riding out the storm.
As a trader your biggest enemy is yourself.
Analyse your trades, look at those mistakes, ask yourself, was it luck that made you profitable, or just bad money management that made you lose?
